Bespoke vs mall designer outlets for Saket brides

Select Citywalk and DLF Avenue host strong designer outlets, but most operate on stock-then-customise: you choose a base sample, then it's altered to your measurements. A true bespoke house like Le Wraps starts with a blank pattern paper. The difference shows in fit (especially across the bust, waist and hip), in embroidery placement (because the design is drawn on your body shape, not a sample mannequin), and in the long-term ability to alter the garment as your body changes.

The Saket → Friends Colony commute

16–20 minutes via Press Enclave Marg → Outer Ring Road → Mathura Road. We deliberately stay outside the mall economy because true bespoke needs atelier space — sampling tables, karigar workshops, full-length fitting rooms — that mall rents can't justify.

    Key takeaways

    • 18 min from Select Citywalk to atelier
    • True bespoke — not made-to-measure mall couture
    • Hand embroidery by heritage karigars
    • Bridal price: ₹1.65L → ₹6L+
    • 10–14 week lead time, 3–5 fittings

    Frequently asked questions

Are you in Saket or Select Citywalk?

No — our atelier is in Friends Colony East, an 18-minute drive from Select Citywalk. We are intentionally not a mall outlet.

How does your bridal pricing compare to mall designer outlets?

Mid-couture starts at a similar entry point (₹1.65L–₹2.4L), but our garments include true bespoke patterning, original sampling and 3–5 fittings — which mall outlets typically charge separately for.

Can I see samples before committing?

Yes — every consultation includes physical fabric and embroidery samples. Nothing is committed until a sample swatch is approved in person.

Do you make groom sherwanis as well?

Yes. Many Saket brides commission a matching tone-on-tone groom sherwani — ₹85K–₹3.5L depending on embroidery weight.

How early should I book for a December–February wedding?

4–6 months ahead is ideal. November–January is our peak season; rush slots fill by August.
