Can I order a bespoke bridal lehenga from Delhi if I live abroad?
Yes. Le Wraps designs and ships bespoke bridal lehengas to NRI brides in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore and 6 other countries. The full process — consultation, sketching, measurements, fittings and shipping — runs remotely with one optional in-person fitting during your India visit.
How do I get measured for a lehenga from the US, UK or Canada?
We courier a Le Wraps measurement kit with video instructions. A local tailor or seamstress takes 22 standard measurements while we guide them on a video call. We also have trusted partner studios in New York, London, Toronto, Dubai and Sydney who take measurements for our brides on request.
How long does international shipping take?
Once the lehenga is finished, packaging and dispatch take 3–5 business days. DHL Express to North America and Europe takes 4–7 days, UAE 2–3 days, Australia and New Zealand 5–8 days. Every shipment is fully insured and door-to-door.
What about customs duties and import taxes?
We declare the shipment correctly with HS code, value and full invoice. Import duties are payable by the recipient at delivery. We share country-specific guidance during quotation so there are no surprises.
How early should an NRI bride start the bespoke process?
Start 6–10 months before your wedding for an heirloom bridal piece, 4–6 months for a designer wedding lehenga. This allows time for sampling, embroidery, one in-person fitting during your India trip, and stress-free shipping.
Do you accept payments in USD, GBP or CAD?
Yes. We accept international wire transfers in USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, AED, SGD, EUR and CHF directly to our HSBC India account. Major Indian credit cards via secure payment links also work — we share the safest option per country.
Can my mother or sister visit the atelier on my behalf?
Absolutely — many of our NRI brides send their mother, sister or future mother-in-law for in-person fabric selection and fitting feedback. We video-call you live during their visit so you participate in real time.
