"Le Wraps transformed my vision into reality. The craftsmanship of my bridal lehenga was unmatched — every stitch, every motif felt personal. A truly unforgettable bridal experience."

Le Wraps by Nidhi Sachdev — thirty years in a single Friends Colony atelier, designing bespoke bridal lehengas, blouses, sarees, gowns and Western wear for women who want the designer at the table, not a rack in the way.

What we design
Every pathway below is drafted for your measurements, hand-finished inside the atelier, and fitted on you — not on a sample size.
Full bridal wardrobe — sangeet, mehendi, wedding, reception — designed together.
Padded, corseted, deep-back and halter blouses drafted from your measurements.
Silk suits, Anarkalis, kurta sets and sarees with hand embroidery.
Gowns, saree-gowns, jumpsuits and structured dresses — drape stitched in place.
Blouses, suits, dresses and separates — pattern-cut from your body.
Drafted from your measurements at the same table — no plus-size upcharge.
Re-cutting, re-finishing and embroidery restoration on heirloom pieces.
Virtual consultations and fittings timed around home visits.
The consultation journey
The same five-step pathway governs a padded blouse and a heavy bridal lehenga. Only the scale and timeline change.
Step 01
By appointment. Occasion, references, comfort priorities — before any fabric is opened.
Step 02
Nidhi sketches from first principles. Fabric, silhouette and embroidery vocabulary locked before making.
Step 03
Measurements taken by the designer. Paper pattern drafted. Muslin toile for structured pieces.
Step 04
Cutting, embroidery and finishing under one roof. Two to seven private fittings on your body.
Step 05
Blouse padding, hem-lock, dupatta drape, pressing and packing — ready to wear, not to alter.

Chapter I · The House
Le Wraps has occupied the same Friends Colony East address for three decades. In that time, a small circle of master karigars has trained here, stayed here, and learned the house's particular vocabulary of zardozi, dabka and real-metal thread.
Every piece is commissioned, not selected. We meet brides before we meet fabrics, and the calendar follows the garment — not the other way around.
Chapter II · The Services
I
Banarasi tissues, hand-loomed silks and unhurried drapery — composed in measurements, never in sizes.
II
Quietly tailored menswear with hand-couched silver and gold. Cut close, finished by hand, made to outlive the occasion.
III
A bridal piece built over four to twenty-eight weeks — hand zardozi, real dabka, and the patience the craft requires.
IV
Heritage silhouettes loosened for the way modern women actually live — easy at a sangeet, considered at a reception.

Chapter III · The Craft
A signature bridal lehenga at Le Wraps carries between 1,500 and 4,000 hours of hand work — counted, not estimated. Real zardozi and dabka, set by karigars who have worked at this address for fifteen years or more.
We weave with mills in Varanasi and Surat that we have known for two decades. We finish every seam by hand. Nothing is outsourced once it enters the studio.

Chapter VII · The Invitation
We see one bride at a time, for as long as the conversation needs. Bring references, bring family, bring nothing at all — we begin with what the day asks for, and we work backwards from there.
