How we measure, draft and fit
The fit is the entire craft. Everything else — fabric, embroidery, palette — sits on top of measurements taken carefully and a pattern drafted for you.
Step 1
Measurements taken by the designer
Nidhi personally takes the tape — bust, waist, high-hip, hip, shoulder, arm-hole, sleeve, back, front length, side length, dart position. Not by an assistant, not by a mannequin proxy.
Step 2
Pattern drafted on paper
For structured pieces (blouses, corsets, lehengas, gowns) a paper pattern is drafted from your numbers before any fabric is cut.
Step 3
Muslin toile where it counts
Corseted blouses, structured gowns and bridal cholis get a muslin toile fitting first. Adjustments happen on the toile — not on your silk.
Step 4
Two to seven fittings
Blouses and suits: two fittings. Lehengas and gowns: three to five. Bridal: five to seven. Every fitting is supervised by the designer and adjusted the same day where possible.
Step 5
Fit checks the client actually cares about
Sit-down comfort, arm-raise range, dance mobility, blouse gape at the underarm, waist ride on the lehenga skirt. These are checked before sign-off, not after.

- 05Rough budget band. This is not a filter, it lets us shape the fabric and embroidery scope honestly at the first meeting.

Selectively. Blouse re-cutting, length adjustments, dupatta re-finishing and embroidery restoration on heirloom pieces are taken by appointment. We're honest at the enquiry stage about whether an alteration will hold or whether re-drafting is the better route.
