Wedding Day Bridal Lehenga
Heavy zardozi & kundan bridal lehengas in red, maroon, ivory, or pastel for the main wedding ceremony and pheras.
Le Wraps Couture
A wedding lehenga is the photograph that hangs in your home for fifty years. Le Wraps designs each wedding lehenga as a single, irreplaceable couture piece — engineered for the ceremony, the dance floor, the vidaai, and every memory in between.

The Story
A wedding lehenga is unlike any other garment a woman wears. It must carry tradition without feeling dated, sit beautifully through hours of ceremony, photograph as exquisitely in golden-hour daylight as in candlelit reception halls, and hold its shape from baraat through bidaai. At Le Wraps we have designed wedding lehengas for over thirty years — for Delhi brides, NRI brides flying in from London and New York, destination brides marrying in Udaipur and Goa, and intimate court weddings of fifteen guests. Every wedding lehenga begins with a long, unhurried conversation about you — your celebration, your family heritage, your venue, your photographer's lens, the way you want to feel when you walk in.

Why Le Wraps
Internal corsetry, weight distribution, and dupatta drape engineering so the lehenga performs all day — no slipping, no drooping, no discomfort.
Embroidery placement, color palette, and silhouette designed in consultation with how your wedding will be photographed.
Hand-finished seams, reinforced waistbands, and traditional construction so your wedding lehenga is preserved for the next generation.
Limited bridal commissions per season ensure designer Nidhi Sachdev personally oversees every wedding lehenga.
The Atelier Process
01
A 90-minute meeting at our Friends Colony East atelier (or virtual for NRI brides). We discuss your wedding, venue, photographer, family heritage, and the emotional vision for your wedding lehenga.
02
Within 7–10 days, designer Nidhi Sachdev presents hand-drawn sketches and a curated mood board of fabric, color, and embroidery options chosen specifically for you.
03
Choose from our archive of pure silks, velvets, organzas, and nets sourced from heritage mills. Approve embroidery samples — zardozi, kundan, dabka, gota patti, sequin, pearl.
04
A muslin pattern is cut to your exact measurements. The first fitting (4–6 weeks in) checks silhouette, drape, and proportions before any embroidery begins.
05
Master karigars hand-embroider every panel over 6–10 weeks. We share progress photographs at each milestone so you watch your wedding lehenga come to life.
06
The embroidered panels are constructed into a complete lehenga, choli, and dupatta. Two further fittings refine the fit, neckline, and dupatta length.
07
Two weeks before your wedding, the final fitting includes the dupatta drape style — pallu, double-drape, head-veil — so you arrive at your wedding day with everything rehearsed.
08
Your wedding lehenga is delivered in a custom muslin garment bag with detailed care, storage, and post-wedding preservation instructions.

Common Questions
Book 6–9 months before your wedding for the wedding-day bridal lehenga. For an entire wedding wardrobe (sangeet, mehendi, reception), 9–12 months is ideal. Le Wraps accepts limited bridal commissions per season — early booking guarantees designer Nidhi Sachdev's personal involvement.
All bridal lehengas are wedding lehengas, but not all wedding lehengas are bridal. 'Bridal lehenga' specifically refers to the lehenga worn during the main wedding ceremony (pheras). 'Wedding lehenga' is broader — covering sangeet, mehendi, reception, engagement, and the bridal piece itself.
At Le Wraps, custom wedding lehengas start at ₹1,50,000 for sangeet and reception pieces. Heavy bridal wedding lehengas range from ₹2,50,000 to ₹10,00,000+. Final pricing depends on fabric (pure silk velvet vs. organza), embroidery density (hours of zardozi), and construction (corsetry, layering, dupatta count).
Yes. Many of our brides commission full trousseau wardrobes — wedding-day bridal lehenga, sangeet, mehendi, reception, engagement, and post-wedding outfits — all designed cohesively as one collection. Multi-piece commissions receive priority scheduling and a single point of designer contact.
Absolutely. We have designed wedding lehengas for NRI brides in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, and Singapore. The process includes virtual consultations, fabric swatches couriered internationally, video-verified measurements, and fully insured DHL shipping. Most NRI brides plan one Delhi visit for the final fitting.
Our heaviest fully embroidered bridal wedding lehengas weigh 12–18 kg. Through internal weight distribution, padded waistbands, and silhouette engineering, even the heaviest pieces are wearable through 6–8 hours of ceremony.
Yes — during your consultation we share an extensive archive of previous bridal work (with client consent). We also share in-progress photographs throughout your own commission, so you watch your wedding lehenga come to life.
Le Wraps is a bespoke couture house — we design and construct only custom wedding lehengas. We do not rent. Every wedding lehenga is one-of-one, designed for one bride, kept by her for life.
