Suit Stitching With a Pattern, Not a Standard Block
Most suit stitching in Delhi runs off a traced block with a length adjustment. Here your measurements are taken by the designer, a pattern is drafted on paper, and the fabric is cut for you alone. Chanderi, cotton, silk, georgette, organza and velvet each behave differently — the lining, interlining and finishing are chosen for the cloth in front of us, not applied by default. Bring your own unstitched suit set or running fabric and we'll tell you before cutting whether it will hold the silhouette you want. Can I bring my own unstitched suit piece?
Yes — that's one of our most common briefs. The fabric and dupatta are inspected first; some georgettes and organzas need a specific lining to hold the cut, and we tell you before scissors touch the cloth.
How long does suit stitching take?
Suits, kurtas and Anarkalis take 3–4 weeks including two fittings. Shararas and heavily worked occasion suits take longer. Timelines always include fittings — we don't quote a date that skips them.
What does suit stitching cost?
Charges depend on the silhouette, lining and finishing involved. You receive a fixed written quote at the first consultation, before any fabric is cut, and nothing is added later without your approval.
Can you copy a suit I already own?
Yes — bring the reference garment. We pattern from your measurements rather than tracing the old piece, so the new suit fits your current body while keeping the silhouette you liked.
Do you also alter suits?
Yes, by appointment and after assessment — take-in, let-out, sleeve and length work, and re-cutting where the seam allowance permits.
