Stitching, with the discipline of an atelier

A stitching shop assembles. An atelier drafts. At Le Wraps, Nidhi Sachdev takes your measurements herself, a pattern is drafted on paper before any fabric is cut, and every garment — a simple cotton kurta or a corseted bridal blouse — goes through the same fitting discipline. Client fabric is welcome, and we tell you honestly at the counter whether your fabric will hold the construction you want. Thirty years in Friends Colony East, serving South Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon.

Stitching in South Delhi — Common Questions

Is there a good stitching centre near me in South Delhi?

Le Wraps at C-58 Friends Colony East, New Delhi 110065 is a 30-year women's stitching and tailoring atelier — blouses, suits, kurtas, lehengas, gowns and saree finishing, all drafted and fitted in-house. Convenient for Greater Kailash, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Maharani Bagh and New Friends Colony.

Can I bring my own fabric for stitching?

Yes — stitching-only on client fabric is welcome. The fabric is inspected first: some silks, organzas and net need a specific lining or interlining to hold the construction, and we tell you before cutting rather than after.

    How long does stitching take?

Blouses 2–3 weeks, suits and kurtas 3–4 weeks, gowns 4–6 weeks, lehengas 5–24 weeks depending on embroidery. Every timeline includes fittings — we don't quote a date that skips them.

    What does stitching cost?

Stitching charges depend on the garment, construction and finishing. You receive a fixed written quote at the first consultation, before any fabric is cut. Nothing is added later without your approval.

How is this different from a local stitching shop?

A stitching unit assembles from a standard block. Here the designer takes your measurements herself, drafts a paper pattern for you, and the garment goes through two to seven fittings on your body before it leaves the atelier.

    Do you take walk-ins?

No — appointment only, so every client gets undivided fitting time. Call or WhatsApp +91 98113 07891 to book.

    Do you also do alterations?

Yes, by appointment and after assessment — blouse re-cutting, lehenga waist adjustment, hem and seam work, and hand-embroidery restoration on heirloom pieces.
