Bespoke Indian couture by Le Wraps, New Delhi

A specialist bridal atelier · Friends Colony East

Bridal Boutique in South Delhi — Le Wraps

Bespoke bridal lehengas, sangeet gowns, mehendi outfits and reception couture — designed, cut and hand-finished under one roof at C-58, Friends Colony East.

A wedding is a wardrobe, not a purchase. A specialist bridal boutique doesn't design a single lehenga in isolation — it designs a bride's entire week: sangeet, mehendi, wedding, reception, and the small moments in between. At Le Wraps, that wardrobe is drawn by Nidhi Sachdev, drafted for your measurements, and hand-finished by karigars who work under the same roof — so palette, motif and fit stay coherent from the first outfit to the last photograph.

    Who this page is for

Is a specialist bridal boutique the right fit for you?

Bespoke bridal design isn't the shortest or cheapest route. It's the right route when fit, comfort and coherence across functions matter more than turnaround.

    • The bride designing her entire wedding week

You're not shopping for one lehenga in isolation — sangeet, mehendi, wedding, reception and the days in between are all decisions on the same table.

    • Brides who want the designer in the room

You'd rather brief the person sketching the piece than be handed racks curated by a buyer. Every commission at Le Wraps is drawn by Nidhi personally.

    • Brides balancing tradition with fit and comfort

You want the heritage of hand zardozi and real dabka, and you also want to sit through dinner, hug family, and dance without adjusting your blouse.

    • Plus-size brides tired of size-based compromise

Sizes XS–6XL are drafted from your measurements at the same table with no plus-size surcharge — not a scaled-up sample-size pattern.

    • NRI brides designing from overseas

Virtual consultations, measurement guidance and a phased fitting plan around home visits — see the /nri-bride-lehenga-delhi pathway for the remote workflow.

    The consultation journey

From first meeting to final fitting

    1. Step 01 · Consultation
You share the date, functions, references and comfort priorities. We share honest scope, timeline and cost bands before any commitment. No fabric is opened yet.
    2. Step 02 · Design & sketch
Nidhi sketches the piece from first principles. Fabric, silhouette, embroidery vocabulary and palette are locked before making begins.
    3. Step 03 · Measurement & pattern
Measurements are taken by the designer. A paper pattern is drafted for you. Structured pieces (choli, corseted gowns) get a muslin toile first.
    4. Step 04 · Making & mid-fittings
Cutting, embroidery and finishing all happen inside the atelier. Mid-fittings adjust structure, embroidery density and dupatta drape as the piece takes shape.
    5. Step 05 · Final fitting & handover
Blouse padding, hem-lock, dupatta rehearsal, pressing and packing. The piece leaves ready to wear — not ready to alter.

Design decisions that shape a bridal piece

Silhouette, fabric, embroidery, fit — decided in this order

The best bridal outfits aren't the heaviest or the most Instagrammable — they're the ones where every decision below has been made deliberately for the wearer.

    • Silhouette

A-line, mermaid, panelled, or a soft flare — the silhouette is chosen against your height, hip line, dance and sit-through-dinner priorities, not against a season's lookbook.

    • Fabric weight & fall

Raw silk, silk organza, velvet, tissue — each drapes and photographs differently. The choice is made for the venue, the season and the number of hours you'll wear it.

    • Embroidery vocabulary

Zardozi, dabka, gota patti, kundan, resham — we brief the vocabulary before the density. Motif carries the story; density decides the weight you'll carry all evening.

    • Blouse fit & structure

Padded, corseted, deep-back or halter — the blouse is the piece that photographs closest to your face. Cup shape, neckline height and sleeve are drafted on your bust, not a size chart.

    • Dupatta drape & length

One dupatta, two, or a lehenga dupatta plus a veil for the pheras — the drape is rehearsed at the final fitting so nothing shifts on the day.

    • Comfort & the six-hour test

Internal cancan weight, breathable lining, waist-band ride, arm-hole comfort and dance mobility are all checked on your body before sign-off — not left to hope.

    Where to go next

Bridal Boutique in South Delhi — FAQ

Where is the bridal boutique and what area does it serve?

The atelier is at C-58 Friends Colony East, New Delhi 110065. Brides visit from across South Delhi — Greater Kailash, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Panchsheel Park, Maharani Bagh, New Friends Colony, Nizamuddin East — and from wider Delhi NCR, Noida and Gurgaon. NRI brides consult remotely and time fittings around home visits.

What kinds of bridal outfits does the boutique design?

Bridal lehengas, sangeet and cocktail gowns, mehendi and haldi outfits, reception gowns and sarees, and full coordinated trousseau wardrobes. Wedding-party outfits (mother of the bride, sisters, sisters-in-law) can be designed alongside so palette and motif carry through every function.

How is a specialist bridal boutique different from a general couture boutique?

A specialist bridal boutique thinks in wedding weeks, not single outfits. Silhouette, embroidery vocabulary, blouse structure and dupatta drape are decided against real functions, real timing and real photographs — not one look for a lookbook.

When should I book my bridal consultation?

Six to nine months before the wedding is comfortable for full hand embroidery. Four to six months is standard. Shorter timelines are possible for specific silhouettes and lighter embroidery — we'll be honest at the enquiry stage about what fits your date.

Do you dress the whole bridal party?

Yes — this is a specialty. Bride, groom, mother of the bride, sisters, cousins and sisters-in-law can be designed together so palette, motif and formality stay coherent across every function.

Do you take walk-ins for bridal consultations?

No. Bridal consultations are appointment only, so each bride has undivided design time. Book on WhatsApp or call +91 98113 07891.

    Are plus-size brides catered for?

Yes. Sizes XS through 6XL are drafted from your measurements at the same table, with the same designer, karigars and fabrics — no plus-size upcharge and no scaled-up sample pattern.

Do you work with NRI brides?

Yes. Virtual consultations, measurement guidance and a phased fitting plan around home visits. Full remote pathway is detailed on the /nri-bride-lehenga-delhi page.
