A lehenga is not just three pieces of fabric — it is a choli that has to sit at the exact right point on your shoulder, a lehenga waist that has to hold hours of dancing, a cancan whose weight has to swing without dragging, and a dupatta whose drape has to survive the entire pheras. Getting all of that right is a specialty, not a general tailoring skill. How a Bespoke Lehenga Is Made
- 1 · Measurement & block draft
- 22 body measurements taken, then a custom pattern block drafted specifically for your proportions — not a resized sample.
- 2 · Muslin toile fitting
- A cotton mock-up of the choli and lehenga silhouette so the fit is locked before we cut into your bridal fabric.
- 3 · Embroidery + assembly
- Zardozi, dabka, gota patti, kundan — done in-house by master karigars over 6–12 weeks.
- 4 · Mid + final fittings
- Two more fittings for cancan volume, choli fit, dupatta drape and hem length before delivery.

Yes. If you have fabric from Chandni Chowk, Nallis, Meena Bazaar or a family sari being repurposed, we tailor it into a bespoke lehenga with three fittings included. Design consultation, pattern, cutting and stitching charges apply.
How long does a bespoke lehenga take to tailor?
For a fully bespoke bridal lehenga with hand embroidery, we recommend 90–120 days. Rush timelines of 60 days are possible. Plain / lightly embellished lehengas can be tailored in 6–8 weeks.
Can you alter a lehenga I bought from another designer?
Yes. We take alterations on designer lehengas (including Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre and Shahpur Jat purchases) — take-in, let-out, hem, cancan replacement, embroidery repair. Please share photos on WhatsApp for a quote.
What does a bespoke lehenga cost?
Entry semi-couture lehengas start at ₹85,000 (fabric + light hand work + tailoring + fittings). Mid couture ₹1.75L–₹3.5L. Signature couture ₹3.75L–₹6.5L. Alteration jobs on outside lehengas typically ₹3,500–₹18,000 depending on scope.
Do you deliver ready-tailored lehengas to Noida, Gurgaon or overseas?
Yes. Delhi NCR delivery is included; NRI brides in the US, UK, Canada and UAE receive their lehenga via insured DHL/FedEx in 5–9 business days after final fitting.
